この本はNHKEテレ「100分で名著」で知りました。
日本は独裁国家ではないにしても、理不尽な慣行が多々あると感じています。そういった理不尽な慣行を改めさせるにはどうすればよいか、いろいろ参考になりました。
たとえば「強大な相手とは交渉を行うべきではない。」理由は、
Whatever promises offered by dictators in any negotiated settlement, no one should ever forget that the dictators may promise anything to secure submission from their democratic opponents, and then brazenly violate those same agreements.
「正しいことをしているのだから、いつかは実現する」はあり得ない。
Unfortunately, often most people in democratic opposition groups do not understand the need for strategic planning or are not accustomed or trained to think strategically.
「正義は必ず勝つのだ。」ではなく、勝つための戦略を考えなければならないということです。
社会の何かを変えたいと思っている方には、いろいろ参考になるのではと思います。
