アメリカに行く際に、おみやげに自家製ハチミツをと思いました。防疫にひっかかるかもなので羽田空港の防疫所に電話したら、「それはアメリカの規制次第なので、アメリカ大使館に尋ねて下さい。」。
アメリカ大使館に電話で尋ねたら、「それはFDAマターなので、FDAのサイトから担当部署を探して尋ねて下さい。」。
仕方ないのでFDAの最も関係しそうな部署にメールで問い合わせたのですが、数日経っても返事が来ません。
それでChatGPTさんに「Is there any regulation to bring the Japanese honey to USA?」と尋ねたら、
